Please consider joining the Touchdown Club Boosters. We have several openings for key board members. We also welcome all parents to join the various TCB committees. Parent participation is crucial to the success of our fundraising efforts.

Matt Waggoner: President — To preside at all General Membership meetings: to represent in discussions/action items with WSHS and/or Fairfax County Public Schools; other WSHS Booster Clubs; and to coordinate yearly goals and activities with the Head Coach. The President shall be an ex officio member of all committees. In January, the President shall meet with the Head Coach to identify principal requirements for the new Budget Year planning effort.

Michael Warbel: VP of Fundraising — Executes fundraising events and helps prioritize fundraising strategies. Identifies personnel needs for fundraising events and works with Vice President of Volunteers to ensure adequate staffing. Coordinates fund-raising activities with assigned committees. To serve as President in his or her absence; and to perform other duties as directed by the President.

Heather Telfer: VP of Volunteers — Coordinates volunteer activities for event such as Team-Building Events, Registration, Mulch Sale; and to perform other duties as directed by the President including annual updates of the Volunteer Handbook.

Will Fournier: Treasurer — Safeguards the funds of the organization; reports the financial status at each meeting of the Board and General Membership; disburses funds as authorized herein and as directed by the President pursuant to the authority of the Board; and maintains records (computerized), of the students on the football team (so long as these records contain no privately identifiable information). The Treasurer (along with the President) shall ensure that no one in the General Membership receives any services or products that have not been properly paid for either through direct dues, fundraising activities, scholarships, or other direct Member payment.

Sherry Arp: Assistant Treasurer — To assist the Treasurer; to serve as Treasurer in his/her absence; to perform such other duties as may be required to carry out the office of the Treasurer; and to perform any other duties as directed by the President.

Tania Cole: Corresponding Secretary — Manages Email communications. Maintains website, Facebook, and Instagram develops new features and layout as needed, manages parent-contributed photo gallery. Deals with the nitty-gritty of technology, from e-commerce to digital communication tools.  Researches and selects tools and related program plans to assist the organization.

Julie Cabus: Recording Secretary — Serves as recorder for the minutes of the meetings of the Board and the General Membership; maintains for record purposes the Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws and any amendments thereto; keeps a roll of active membership for quorum and other purposes; and performs other duties as directed by the President.
